When you create your band, you can now add your website URL right from the onboarding form. It's also editable later in band settings. Your request page will point visitors to your site so they can learn more about you — whether a show is running or not.
All users can now add unlimited songs to their repertoire — no more 50-song cap.
When there's something new in the changelog, a small dot now appears next to "What's New" in your account menu so you know to check it out. The dot clears automatically once you visit the changelog page.
If you tried to delete a song from your repertoire after it had been requested during a show — even one that had already ended — LiveGig would refuse with a vague "Failed to delete song" error. Now the delete goes through cleanly: the song is removed from your list, and any past queue items that referenced it are preserved in your show history, labeled "Deleted song" so you still have the full picture of what was requested and when.
Your show recap emails now end with a short Pro Tip — a quick pointer to a LiveGig feature you might not be using yet, like CSV imports, tip priority, or embeddable widgets. The tip rotates with each show, so you'll see something different next time around.
Songs on your audience request page now sort the way record stores and music apps do — leading articles like "A", "An", and "The" are ignored for ordering. So "The Smiths" shows up under S, and "A Hard Day's Night" under H. The full title still displays; only the sort order changes.
When an audience member opens your request page, LiveGig now automatically shows it in their preferred language — English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Japanese, or Irish (Gaeilge). No setup required; it picks up the language from their browser and sticks with it for the show.

New bands now get a dynamic setup checklist on the My Bands page that tracks the five steps from sign-up to first request — add songs, download your QR code, create and activate a show, then test the loop yourself. It checks your real progress as you go, so if you step away and come back, it picks up right where you left off. Bands that were already set up before today won't see it.

Band members can now download their full song catalog as a CSV file from the repertoire page — perfect for backups, analysis, or migrating to another tool. The exported file matches the format CSV import expects, so you can export it and import it back without losing any data. Click the new Export CSV button next to Import CSV.
A dedicated print-friendly view of your queue is now available — clean layout, no buttons or chrome, ready to post on a wall or hand to an MC. Click the Print icon on the Full Queue header to open it.
Undo toasts are now more reliable when rapidly playing or declining songs, and the Restore action supports batch operations — so you can undo a batch play or decline with a single tap.
Musicians can now undo an accidental decline or play with one tap. After declining or marking a song as played, a toast notification appears with a "Restore to Queue" button that puts the song back at the end of the queue.
After each show, a shareable recap card is now generated automatically — featuring your band name, show date, and top 5 requested songs on a branded graphic. Download or copy it directly from the analytics page, or find it embedded in your after-action email. Upload a custom background photo in band settings to make it your own.
Musicians can now see who has tipped them in the queue with a 💰 indicator, and optionally sort tippers' requests ahead of the rest of the queue. Activate sorting in Tip Jar settings.
The embed page and its website widget now adapt to dark mode automatically, matching your visitors' color scheme. The widget can be fully customized with CSS for sites with manual dark mode toggles.
When a show ends, band members now receive an after-action report email summarizing songs played, requests received, and audience engagement. A new Notifications section in Account Settings lets you toggle these emails on or off at any time.
Fixed display issues on the Billing & Subscription page when using dark mode. The page background, headings, and trial banner now correctly adapt to your system color scheme.
Text fields that capture proper nouns — song titles, artist names, band names, your name, and show names — now automatically capitalize the first letter of each word on mobile keyboards, reducing manual corrections when entering data.
A System Status link now appears in the site footer, giving anyone a quick way to check LiveGig's current uptime and incident history at status.livegig.app.
The musician queue now re-syncs from the server on every real-time update, guaranteeing the displayed queue always matches the true state. Previously, a single missed or out-of-order broadcast could cause the queue to silently drift until the page was refreshed.
LiveGig now adapts to your system's dark mode preference. All screens — request page, now-playing, queue, analytics, settings, and billing — automatically switch to a dark color scheme when your device is set to dark mode. No more getting blinded by your screen in a dark venue!
New bands now get a 30-day free trial with no show limits, so you can try everything before committing to a plan. After the trial, only shows that received audience requests count toward your monthly limit — shows you start without any requests don't count. The billing page now shows how many days remain in your trial, or your current show usage once it ends.
The musician queue and now-playing screens now automatically reconnect when the network connection drops, with exponential backoff retry. Previously, musicians had to manually refresh the page after a connection interruption.
Bands can now embed a live show widget on their website that displays when a show is active and links to the request page. Get the embed code from Band Settings → 'Get embeddable widget code'.
Fixed confusing "could not authenticate" error after clicking email confirmation link. Users now see a success message and can log in normally.
